I’ve been meaning to do it for a while now, but just recently got enough energy and motivation to wake up to take pictures of the Arizona sunrise.  The problem is, though, that Arizona doesn’t do daylight savings, so the sunrise is at 5:20, meaning that I needed to wake up at 3:30 to get to the location and setup well in advance.  Well, hopefully it all paid off.  Here are some of the better shots:

Arizona Heat

Arriving back in Arizona was not without its surprises, mostly the heat. (If we end up staying, I am not sure how I’ll get through the summer). The 108º temperature has made me really miss the snow, so I thought I’d post an old picture I had. This was taken in the Alta Ski resort from my in-laws cabin. There was a storm in the morning, and it partially cleared around us, giving me a good view of the trees, but the basin still had a hazy feel.
